I've just got home from the pub, where we went after work, and I'm nicely tipsy. Off only two bourbon and cokes and one bundeburg and coke (can form). Such a cheap drunk today.

I worked eight hours at the Sydney Convention and Exhibiton centre, and it was fun. I spent most of the day up in the gantry (ie the roof), and because of my limited physical stature (ie I'm short) I didn't have to duck my head as much as everyone else did. And Sos from Chameleon was there, and he's fucking AWESOME.

If anyone's watching the NRL grand finals, I spent Friday doing the lights for it. And please tell me if the stage worked, because it was fucked last time I saw it. It's really amusing watching grown men being anal about gluing gold shiny stuff down. And that giant trophy replica thing is fuggers. I thought perhaps seeing the statue men lying down on the concrete made them more unnatractive, but standing up...they were even worse. And they looked like they were going to make out.

Speaking of making out...I'm at the I-want-a-girl stage of tipsy.

I slept all through yesterday. Seriously.

I went to bed at 5am on Friday (sorry I disappeared Kring - the connection my end imploded), woke up just after midday on Saturday (I heard the lunchbell, but couldn't be bothered going down), woke up again around 5, but didn't want to get up/shower before dinner, so I went back to sleep and didn't get up until 8am this morning. And I feel shit for it. I have a headache, and up until about half an hour ago, I was shaking from the hypoglycaemia. I nearly passed out in the shower.

So, room cleaning...I really need to get this done.

To-do list: Clean room.

Apparently another Japanese girl moved in yesterday. I'll have to meet her sometime.

Does anyone know how I can stop media player from displaying all my Japanese music in the language of the boxes? iTunes does it too, and I dl-ed a microsoft language package at one point. Also, some way for me to type in Japanese would be nice. And I got into Japanese 2B! Yay!

I've done most of my essential packing. I just have to iron some stuff and pack some more clothes. I've sorted out most of my knick-knacks, essential non-essentials (ie my Johnny's mags), bedding (I think I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight), and things that were hanging up in my wardrobe. I think I managed to choose only a dozen out of the nearly four dozen things I have in my wardrobe.

Also, as from tomorrow, I'm not sure how much net access I'm going to have, so semi-hiatus until my boys build me my computer.

I love my Mum so much right now. We went shopping today for supplies in readiness for my big move. And then we went into Myer and looked at coats.

There was one coat that I saw that I just fell in love with. It's red, knee-length, made of Italian Cashmere, has hidden buttons, and has the perfect line. I'll post pictures sometime. It's fucking gorgeous. Anyway, it was originally $170, but today it was marked down to $85, and she bought it for me. I just have to buy her a really nice birthday present in return.

And last night I stayed up til 2 painting my nails in the same colours as Shota did in the August Popolo. Geek much. But it's pink and blue and yellow and pretty. And I have a sneaking suspicion he painted Subs' nails for him too. And I went to bed at 1:30, so it wasn't like I really spent that much time painting them.

And tonight I'm being taken out to Italian for dinner.

I also bought a new backpack, that looks nice and should comfortably fit my ficbook, discman, wallet, phone and other basic necessities.

I saw Superman Returns with Jex and Srah today. So. Freaking. Good. Although it was weird seeing all the Sydney locations and trying to pretend it wasn't actually Wynyard Station and so forth.

Mum refuses to let Max build me a computer. She's going to buy me a cheap laptop. So Dad claims he'll pay for any computer that Max makes for me. Mlu, are you still reading this? Can you give me an estimate yet?

I've spent most of today singing all three lines of Osaka Obachan Rock that I know. And I caved in and bought August Popolo and MyoJo yesterday. Popolo had some really nice looking portraits of them (long haired Subs! Blonde Shota!), but MyoJo had them playing futsal. Apparently after the game Hina hadn't had enough fun so he ran around shirtless asking the others to keep playing with him. Oh, and as for the stuff in Popolo, I understood most of what I read so I may translate it. There was an explanation of the necklaces from Shota too. And Skull-chan is always just out of shot. Even when he's playing futsal sans the glove. There's a junior's arm in front of his hand. Blegh.

Why don't I have any azuki cubyrop left? (;_;)

On the train tonight were two girls about 2 years younger than me, listening to Evanescence, and bitching about life, the universe and everything. And one of them looked like that freaky girl Veronica found on my space. The other got a UAI of 47 even though she got 70-75 in all her exams. She thinks it's something to do with the school's performance. I nearly intervened and said it's also dependant on the subjects she did. A 75 in Physics scores better than a 75 in art. They also complained about how no one ever commented on their entries (presumably in LJ), because they went to all that trouble to say something, someone should comment. It amused me.

Mlu, Josh and Michael want to build me a computer, with all the things I want - a big hard drive, at least half a gig of RAM, a DVD burner and all the software I need. It'll still be all under warranty, legit, and if any of it breaks they'll fix it. Oh, and the price will resemble wholesale.

Of course, Mum instantly rejected the idea. Which makes me sad.

But I had a fun day with my boys. I had ichigo yukimi daifuku and black black gum and bought six different flavours of instant ramen. Including chicken teriyaki with garlic.

I got a letter from UAC saying I can do my Science next session. At this point I'm going to major in pharmacology and minor in Japanese studies, except I can't enrol in Japanese 1B because I haven't done Japanese 1A but I have to do a proficiency test anyway to get the right course. Which could even be 2B or 3B or whatever. B becuase it's second session.

I'm MOVING OUT FLAIL FLAIL next week. Gotta start with the organising stuff soon. Shit hit the fan when Mum and I told Dad and Glenda, but I'll be out of that mess soon now.

Vegemite toast is so good. But four slices is enough.

I think I was going to say something, but now I've forgotten. It's the last week of *ahem* session.

I'm trying to work out whether to wear my black-with-white-polka-dots dress tomorrow for the final bingo of session, or to wear it to the R'n'B party. I'll probably still go emo to the party.

There's a naked man on TV. He doesn't have the hot male torso V though. Oh well. His chest is hairless.
